Born as Balraj, Sunil Dutt was born on 6 th June, 1929 in Punjab to Diwan Raghunath and Kulwanti Dutt. He married Nargis and has two children. He graduated from Jai Hind College. To earn money he used to work for BEST Transport. He started with the film Railway Platform in 1955. He died on 25 th May, 2005. He got Padma Shri in 1968 and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2005. His last work was Munna Bhai MBBS in 2003. Some of his great works are Mother India, Waqt, Mera Saaya, Hamraaz etc. he had been the Minister of Soprts from 2004 to 2005.
